Buro Nexus signs lease agreement in World Port Center (WPC) in Rotterdam

Buro Nexus and World Port Center Propco B.V. signed a long-term lease agreement on the high-rise office floors of WPC located at Wilhelminakade 955 in Rotterdam. Buro Nexus will be leasing approx. 425 sq.m. on the 26th floor as per September 2020.

WPC is the office building with the best view on the Kop van Zuid. This fully equipped building has a company restaurant, coffee corner and various meeting facilities. At the moment only 2 large floors of approx. 1,400 sq.m. each are available in the WPC.

World Port Center Propco B.V. is introducing high level “hospitality” by renovating the entrance and introducing a new entry system which could be used with facial recognition. In 2020 WPC will show that you can work in a state-of-the-art office building with a 5-star security system without sacrificing the experience of an open character. At this moment all the elevators are being renovated with a smart operating system and the parking garage is undergoing a cosmetic metamorphosis.

Good to mention is that WPC is listed for BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold certification. Since the cooling installation will contract their cooling capacity via the river the Nieuwe Maas at the beginning of 2021, World Port Center Propco b.v. believes this will take a major step in the sustainability approach they have for the building.

The deal between Buro Nexus and World Port Center Propco B.V. has been finalized due to the good collaboration with Unifore as the asset manager of WPC and broker De Mik bedrijfshuisvesting.
